Tow hook mounting.

On the aftdeck there is the mounting of the tow hook.

The mounting is made of brass tubes and plates.

The brass tubes in a piece of wood at the right distance.

The lower plate on its place.

The second plate is kept on the right distance by a piece of wood.

Then it can be soldered.

After cooling down and cleaning the result is good.

The mounting is placed in two holes through the aftdeck and soldered. Beneath the deck there is a second plate to give extra support.

The mounting almost ready, only the side tubes need to be fitted.

Naking two equal plates.

On the mounting there are two equal plates for mounting the tow hook. I drilled two holes in every plate and soldered them. The outer shape is filed.
